One of the great comic actresses of all time actually plays is straight in this movie. This is when she was still trying to make it as a serious dramatic actress.

It doesn't. It's repetitive. Lots of blood can't save this anime. It was better off with just 12 episodes. Climax it. It's good animation but poor storytelling. 4/10.

You have a point here. It's like watching a generic comedy movie. I mean, yeah, it's nice, but it's not special. Just a generic from zero to hero

Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.
