I'm just curious how many of you take care of your workspace both at home and in the office, because I'm a cleaning addict, and my colleagues sometimes make jokes about that.
Or are you among those who have sticky, dirty keyboards?

I don't mind a bit of dirt in my workspace. It gives it character, right? As long as it doesn't interfere with my workflow, I'm good.
Keeping my workspace immaculate is practically a religion for me. Some might call me a maniac when it comes to cleanliness.
At the office, I spare no expense when it comes to cleanliness. I've got a cleaning company on retainer, Going Green, and they swing by every single day to make sure everything is spotless. And I mean everything - monitors, keyboards, desks, you name it. It might sound a bit luxurious, but it's totally worth it for me. I pay around $1100 a month for their services, but the peace of mind and productivity boost I get in return is priceless.

I'm probably one of the only blue collar workers on this forum. I never worked at a desk and never will. I do handyman work and it's hard to keep my work van clean but I manage to keep it that way.
I am careful to keep my keyboard clean. The rest of my desk is a mess.
Lucille Ball with the Marx Brothers in a scene from Room Service.
One of the great comic actresses of all time actually plays is straight in this movie. This is when she was still trying to make it as a serious dramatic actress.
