What he's reffering to when he says "not after what i did to u and the others" is when he left the leaf village to join the sound when he was 14 like his dad had done(he had made tenaje cry that day and regrets it once in a while)the reason tenaje ran to him is she loves him never told him though at the same time she hates his guts(but for him he's loved her since he met her at age 5 (since he left the village he acts like he hates all his old friends including her)he still gets shy around her
