Couldn't be more correct, concrete-angel. In my version they get over the crush and move to better interests. Ino and Shikamaru eventually hook up and Sakura sorta stays crush-free for a while. After the two year gap she starts to like Kakashi. She has a little fling with Kankuro but eventually marries Kakashi. She does keep having an affair with the Kitty-man though...
