Anko, I don't think this is the last episode. In fact, I don't think this has ANYTHING to do with the anime at all. And in the last episode, he doesn't meet the kind of spirits. The ST is put to a hault, and at the very last part, the "Destiny Star" shows up again to restart it. And that's the end of the series.
