Tsunade was going to send Gai's team to a mission (S-rank). Gai says that if his team goes, the mission should be no problem. But then Tsunade tells him that she wants that Naruto will go with them. So Gai feels hurt and is feeling sorry for Ten Ten, Neji and Lee, who're of course all great ninjas. I think I would have been a little snappy, too, if that would have happened to me/my students.

Ok wait, I remember he did that somewhen in the fillers, but i also remember a manga page of him shouting at Tsunade. Err, now i'm a bit confused
