When you compare the scenes, in the manga he gets hit like, four times, and in the Anime he's punched like fifteen times. O.o I'm surprised only his face peeled off after that.

He gets his ass kicked in the anime. Tsunade went way, way overboard. Especially with the last punch that sent him flying almost 40 feet in the air, and a bit farther horizontally.. But his arms were peeling and useless and he was sick, so therefore that wasn't considered a true match.

Tsunade, how could you??

He did very well with such a handicap so probably he would have won at full power.
