Ryoko Mitsurugi is a high-school girl who has always wanted to be a samurai, and luckily for her, she is in the right high school for that. In her school is an officialy recognized system of duels known as "K fights," where Ryoko reigns supreme, being the undefeated champion. As this leads to a lot of constant challenges, she tends to be bothered on a regular basis by people interested in defeating her.
When she finds a mysterious pendant, Ryoko finds herself in another world, where a shrine maiden called Reiha tells Ryoko that she is to defeat all the monsters that plague that world.
