thats because the whole romance thing is completely inevitable! i think the creators try to leave it up to the fans to decided pairings. I've noticed that in a few animes. And who else thinks they should start putting the episode numbers under the pictures where all that other info is from now on? I can't tell whether they're pics from episodes i've missed or from episodes i haven't seen or will not see for a while.
