Now that I'm seeing Tenten drinking water, have any of you guys seen a normal plastic bottle of water in Konoha?

Nope. What time period is the show set in, anyways? I know I've asked this before, but it's very confusing. For example, Sakura mentions that the centipede in the forest of death is as big as a BUS, the Uchihas have a TV, There are telephone boxes and utility poles, and Kakashi's team has radios when they're trying to catch that lady's cat. So is it set in present times?

i think it's becuz japan has different way's of doing things than other parts of the world just like any other country. tht mite be wat the japanese use as a water jug on hikes. =S
