its when he attacks Zabuza, indeed when kakashi and Zabuza battle there is a mist everywhere but... when Kakashi uses his dogs then the mist cleares... then you can see naruto, sakura and that old man... so it clearly is when he attacks Zabuza and also when you go on with the pages you see kakashi do his 'Lightning edge' on Orochimaru so that alone would prove that it is against Zabuza....

Dude, this is from the zabuza epidsode. Haven't you noticed that its been following the order of the episodes being aired? And this is when kakashi does his lightening jutsu after hes got zabuza with his hound ninja scroll. He goes after zabuza and hits Haku because he jumps in front of him. Kinda a waste of chakra... That was a freakin sweet move though.

ok for 1 thing this is the fight against zabuza, he uses a different stance when he was about to fight orochimaru, he also didnt have his sharingan revealed, and second stop calling kakashi's lightning blade the chidori, they originated fromt he same technique but technically they arent the same, lightning blade is a stronger version of chidori, chidori being a A-Rank technique and lightning blade being a S-Rank technique, lightning blade was created when kakashi used chidori to cut a bolt of lightning
