Its not his dad, he has black hair, not grey. (ZUKO!!! *drooool*)

Actually that's the man who killed Katara and Sokka's mother. Zuko helped Katara find him and was going to get her revenge on him but ultimately rcouldn't carry it out. After all this Katara finally forgave Zuko for his past.
