Tenchi: *standing in front of Rinaishi�s grave crying while facing his parents* Wh-why did Rinaishi die� I� I-I don�t understand�
Tenchi�s mom: *looks sad but hugs him and wipes away his tears* Her body wasn�t strong enough�
Tenchi�s dad: *has a saddened expression- pats his head* I know its hard, Tenchi� But she�s not coming back�
This is supposed to be Tenchi at age 7, though he looks older than that, and yes he�s wearing black nail polish, it�s a tradition for mimino sapiens to paint their nails black for funerals. As you can see, his parents weren�t always heartless� It all started after Rinaishi died of her illness, they took up an investment in the TTK project by funding money for it, in hopes to make a life form that would be, in their eyes, perfect. They went to earth later that year, and bought a house where they had Tenchi stay at� They weren�t always around for him, and as they got lost with their projects, they grew colder, and even abusive towards him. Tenchi, in turn, grew to hate what they were doing, not only because he didn�t agree with it, but because it took his parents from him�
